A World With Little or No Poverty
Taking a bird’s eye view of the world today, we find an earthquake in Haiti, fires on the west coast, a hurricane in Louisiana, recent flooding on the east coast, people being evicted, long
lines at the food distribution sites, Hungary, and homeless people on the Texas/Mexico border, that is just what we are aware of.
The need to help dominates our thinking, but in most cases that is not possible. We have
our own dilemmas to deal with.
WE have the power to change the world if we band together. Let us join together for the good of all mankind. By working together we eliminate poverty… Yours, Mine, Thiers…
In the words of Mother Tresa… Thoughtfulness is the beginning of Holiness
Thoughtfulness, the kindly regard of others, the beginning of Holiness. if you learn the art of being thoughtful, you will be more like Christ. His heart was kind and gentle, and He always thought of others. Our vocation, to be beautiful, must be full of regard for others. Jesus did good wherever He went. Our Lady at Cana thought only of the needs of others and told Jesus about them.
We must ask God to help us live each day with passion and purpose… to help us understand that riches are in relationships, not in possessions.
It is a sin to despise the poor, but kindness brings blessings from God. Proverbs 14:21
A small group of us banding together is all it will take. Many great movements have been achieved with just a few people working on them with passion and purpose.
The Catholic church was started by twelve uneducated dedicated men, who worked with passion and purpose to raise in others the desire to please God, love their neighbor, and spend eternity with Jesus, God the Father, and the Saints.
EWTN (Eternal Word Television Network) the largest Catholic/Religious network in the world was started by a Poor Clare nun, with little knowledge of television workings, and her small band of Nuns and co-workers. You can access EWTN at EWTN.com
EWTN also has over 500 radio stations. The Dallas station is KATH at 910 AM and is great, uplifting, inspired listening. It is a great place to learn about the Catholic Faith.
To reiterate… WE have the power to change the world if we band together. Let us join together for the good of all mankind. By working together we eliminate poverty… Yours, Mine, Their…
Never forget to Accept for the Grace of God, you could be getting evicted, scrounging for food, homeless, unemployed, penniless…
