Resilience and Perseverance
Resilience is the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties: toughness.
Perseverance is the continued effort to do or achieve despite difficulties, failure, or opposition.

Hitting The Target: A Daily Plan A gesture of Love, Surrender, and Trust… Imediately on rising, thank the Lord for protecting you doing the night and ask Him to watch over doing the day. For the Holy Spirit to watch over you and you spend the day in a way that glorifies God.
Morning Prayer… to spend time in prayer. The way I do it is to set my computer on youtube and the Chaplet of Mercy, The Novena to Our Lady of Prepetual Help, The Three Hail Mary Novena, The Holy Land Rosary on youtube or EWTN. Than the Mass in person, on youtube, or on EWTN, ending with the Rosary for Life or for the end of the Corona Virus. When I am at home I do this while perparing and eating breakfast. Bear in Mind, I live alone and have little or no distractions. You must figure out something that works for you…
Rosary… Sometime during the day, with family or a group if possible. The Rosary is a priceless treasure inspired by God.” St. Louis De Montfort, who also said the rosary said alone is one beautiful rosary, while said in a group is 10, 20, 30 rosaries depending on the size of the group. The rosary gives us all a chance to meditate on the life of Christ..
Silence… a bit of silence is a very good practice every day. The language of God is silence and God is only present in the moment.
Mass... there is no greater prayer than the Mass.
Angelus at Noon… gives us a chance to check in with God
Divine Mercy at 3 pm… This is the time Jesus died on the Cross
Prayer before Meals... every meal is a gift from God, so thank Him and ask Him to Bless your Meal
Evening Prayer… with the family if possible… it is a great time to thank God for getting you through another day and to reflect on the day. If you are Blessed to do it with your spouse and children, it is a good time for family bonding. Each person relating to others their day makes the family more solid., caring, understanding.
Throughout the Day Come Holy Spirit… Everything… your toaster, your stove, your hot water heater has a power source… and we are no different… for appliances… it is electricity or gas… for us it is God, The Holy Spirit… just as we check our fuel gauge in our car often… we should check in with our power source often…
Of course, doing at least many of the practices daily is the goal, five times a week is a success… Don’t beat yourself up… if you are open, God will make the time for you to speak to Him…

Confession… Bearing your soul to God… Letting God know you know you did wrong and you are sorry…
Remember you are confessing to God Himself… The Priest is just His physical stand in…
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is one of the most unique and beautiful aspects of Catholicism. Jesus Christ, in His abundant love and mercy, established the Sacrament of Confession, so that we as sinners can obtain forgiveness for our sins and reconcile with God and the Church. The sacrament “washes us clean,” and renews us in Christ.
“Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so, I send you.’ And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained” (John 20:21-23).

The Exhilaration of Discoveries
“We are in a tough business. It is climbing Mt. Everest. No matter how good you are, you are going to lose your grip sometimes and fall back. Then you have a choice, either retreat to the relative confront and safety of the base camp, or get up, dust yourself off, get a firmer grip, and surer toehold and head back up for the summit.
The space business is not about base camps. It is about summits. And the exhilaration of discoveries you make once you get there. That is what drives you on.” Dr. CFirouz Naderi, NASA
This journey is definitely like a space mission. We must win. The alternative is horrible and lasts forever, just like
the exhilaration of life in Heaven with God lasts forever. You were made for nothing less…
It is time to set a clearly defined Mission Statement for your life and your family. Everyone should know that your primary mission in life is to get to Heaven and get them there also…
Join together with your group, family, and or friends, and with lots of prayers, begin building the plan for your spiritual life: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly… for you never know when you will be called to your final destination…
Make God Your Partner… Thank Him for everything… Remember you are an instrument… incapable of doing anything without your Power Source… Betty White had a stroke on Christmas day and passed away six days later… Bob Saget, while on tour, passed away in an Orlando Hotel room… We never know when we will be called to live in eternity… Life is fragile… Handle it with prayer… and a close relationship with God.
Everything is a Blessing, good-bad, or ugly… if we are open in thanksgiving we will receive the Blessing God has intended for us… Just think how much the world beats God up… we must ease His pain by continuously Thanking Him…
The good meal was made by God… Yes, He used your hands… but He made it all possible… every breath is a gift from God… and truly living a good blessed life is truly a gift from God… which makes our birth into the eternal life a gift from God…
God loves it when we are humble… While on earth Jesus never healed anyone that wasn’t humble. Mother Angelica, EWTN Foundress, gave us this passage to root us in humility… “Jesus I am poor in spirit… I have nothing unless You give it to me. Lord increase my faith, my hope, my love.” Except for the grace of God, you could be homeless, have cancer, destitute, broke… Take a look… many are…
